I quote the father of nukes himself, Albert Einstein, “Mankind invented the atomic bomb, but no mouse would ever construct a mousetrap”…
No nation should have nukes. If some would, then any nation who
want should be able to… current situation creates a power imbalance because
those who have it are seen as extremely powerful, and those who don’t are extremely
weak nations… Here is a list of nations with nukes – declared and undeclared:
U.S., China, Russia, Pakistan, India, France, UK, Israel, and North Korea. These
countries host nukes from other countries – Germany, Italy, Türkiye, Belgium,
Netherlands and Belarus… Many of USSR’s former regions like Ukraine and Georgia
had nukes, and were tricked to give them up, a decision they all regret today. It
is known that Japan, though do not have nukes, have capabilities to develop and
launch them within a short time, even from the space.
Why can’t other nations have nukes?
Ownership of nukes is why Iran is holding the rest of the world at the jugular by blocking the Strait of Hormuz where 20% of global oil passes through, and other important resources like fertilizers go through. If you say my assertion about Iran holding the rest of the world hostage is a fallacy, check the price of gasoline, flight tickets, cost of fertilizers and prices of commodity items that are shipped from abroad – they have all gone up… You are paying the price for a needless war. Why? Their Islamic leaders are fighting an existential war. Successive U.S. government under the advisory of smart people who permutate what could happen if Iran is attacked unprovoked know that a war like the one that started on Feb 28, 2026, would be a foolish decision. Unfortunately, sense is lacking in the current administration who act on impulse and stupid show of force that endangers the U.S. in a bigger conflict that could ensue with their bigger adversaries like Russia and China. Showing all your strength in a war that does not threaten you weakens you. The motivation for U.S. in joining Israel in attacking Iran is stackedly different. It was not a war U.S. should fight today… It was Israeli’s war whose only motivation was to neutralize the only threat to their ULTIMATE goal of taking the remaining land from the Palestinians.
Current U.S. government has struggled to define its mission in the current war with Iran in the middle east. They have given many explanations as to why they attacked a sovereign nation unprovoked and killed many of its leaders. They have given many confusing reasons like:
- They killed their own people – over 30,000 of them earlier this year. So, Iranians needs to be saved from the wicked Mullahs. Why didn’t you attack North Korea, another nuclear who kill its people at will and has killed hundred of thousands of them in an attempt to sustain the dynasty of Kim Jong in power. Why not attack them as well.
- The regime is a dictatorship, and we want to affect a regime change. What the U.S. did not tell the world is that they created the current regime 47 years ago. They (through the CIA) orchestrated the REMOVAL and HOUSE ARREST of a democratic leader (Prime Minister), Mosaddegh, in Iran in 1953. Why? They were irked that Mosaddegh nationalized BP Oil (a British Company with U.S. interest) because he saw that they were cheating his country… They installed a monarch in the SHAH, who ruled Iran with iron hands, terrorizing the people of Iran for decades (1953 – 1979). Islamic revolution of 1979 was a rebellion to a dictatorship backed by the U.S. The blockade of 1979 that cost Jimmy Carter a second term and brought in the infamous Ronald Regan was because of this failed policy in the middle east. This is enough to say that this was the beginning of hatred between the two nations. Naively, it is the descendant of the same Shah that caused mayhem in Iran for 26 years that is being pushed to lead the new regime in Iran if the toppling of the mullahs had succeeded. Talking about absent-minded leaders who refuse the lesson of history, you get it in this crop of unexperienced and incompetent people...
- We want to prevent them from getting nukes – but you said you have obliterated their stockpile, so, what is there to own again?
From all indications, Iran will most likely come out of this conflict stronger, despite many of its leaders killed in the war. Leaders don’t make a country, ideology does. The ideology behind the revolution remains. Iran has discovered a new WEAPON more powerful than nukes – the Strait of Hormuz. Before Feb 28, the Ayatollah had been moderate of nukes – he issued a Fatwah against their proliferation and use. Iran was in negotiation with the U.S. when the war to stop them from acquiring nukes started. They were in a weaker position than they are today, and would have given up more than they would now with the discovery of the new power they have now… The U.S. blockade will not cause regime change in Iran; it will create more hatred for the U.S. among ordinary Iranians who are suffering from the blockade. The mullahs can outlast the blockade for months. Will Americans endure high prices of gasoline for months… its average national average is over $4.65 per gallon. It may reach over $5/gallon this week if no agreement is reached.
Bibi pulled the U.S. into a war of choice, and the rest of the world is being punished. Some proponents of the war accused those who oppose it of supporting Iran’s quest for nukes – at least that is what the Pope is being falsely accused of. In actual fact, Iran had nukes before the Feb 28 attack. The West knows and they keep lying to the rest of the world that their reason for attacking Iran was partly because they want to prevent them from getting a weapon they already had. Here is what I mean:
- Before Feb 28 of Bibi – Trump war against Iran that killed many of its leaders, Iran already had over 60% enriched uranium that was enough to make a dirty nuke. The bomb that the U.S. threw in Japan during WWII was about the same level of purity. Iran could arm a warhead with the nuke to attack any nation within its reach. Even today that they face an existential war, Iran could still use nuke at Israel, their Arab neighbors or any nation supporting them. They did not, WHY? Because all the propaganda that Iran’s main motivation for seeking nukes is to kill all Israelis and Americans is just not true … (after all, they have been screaming “death to Israel,” “death to America” at every opportunity. What they refuse to emphasize is that Iran has not DIRECTLY attacked Israel or U.S. unprovoked since the Islamic Revolution in 1979 – not once… Yes, their proxies have. You do not punish one nation for the sin of another – U.S. has armed many nations who attacks others for the U.S., Russia has done the same, Rwanda is doing the same in the DRC, and we see this formula across the world…North Korea would never have gotten nukes if not for China and the Russians… The U.S. is yet to attack these two countries for harming North Korea… why, China and Russia have nukes.
- Nukes have only been used once in human history against a nation. It was by the global police accusing some nations with the plan of using nukes. It was only used against Japan in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in WWII. No nation has been crazy enough to use nukes since. Not even the crazy Kim Jong Un of North Korea who many see as unstable… he killed his own brother using a chemical weapon. He has killed many citizens of his country in merciless ways – they were blown into pieces with a machine guns…
- Observers have posited that the real reason for Israel attacking Iran is primarily because they are the only nation in the middle east powerful enough to retaliate against them when attacked unprovoked, and in their apartheid against the Palestinians. Israel has become the new axis of terror in the middle east – the proof of this is that all its Arabs nation have awakened to the fact that after Iran, Israel is one nation they cannot confront. They are terrified of the new nation that sends
Here is my personal opinion on Iran’s nuclear ambition. In solemn voice without glorifying the death of others, their mullahs deserved what came to them – they have tortured and killed many innocent citizens who dared to challenge them over the years. Some in cold blood on the streets. Even though Iran has yet to shoot nukes at any nation, there is no guarantee they won’t if they feel threatened – so, Iran should not be allowed to get nukes. A bigger position on nukes is that no nation should have and keep the weapon – it threatens humanity. If some would have it, then the rest of the world should have the right to have it as well. With the current situation, it creates an imbalance for the rest of the world. Those who have it are in a class of their own and are saved from unprovoked attack and bullying. You could imagine if Venezuela had nukes, the U.S. would think twice before blowing out boats off its coast or stealing its leader overnight. Those who have nukes do so as a deterrent. I promise you that if Ukraine did not give up its nukes, Russia would not have attacked it. It is clear North Korea will never give up its nuclear weapon – I think the rest of the world should accept that, including the West and they should consider removing all sanction against the dictator and his country. The morality of sanction is lost in the current disposition.
My position is that NO nation should have NUKES. If some would retain it, then the rest of us should have it…
