Both have done egregious things... One has admitted those he believed were true, and apologized... And he has a history of PTSD from laying down his life to fight in stupid wars created by those attacking him... PTSD could cause the best of us to turn to animals, sometimes to the point of taking their own lives or those of others, become an alcoholic, exhibit irrational social behavior, including infidelity, and so forth...
Here is the other guy who is the president who has NEVER ever admitted doing anything wrong in his life, despite many open records - audio, video, written, evidence of thousands of wrongdoing...he boasted grabbing women in the private parts, he convicted of assaulting a woman in a civil case, accused of sleeping with a prostitute while his wife was pregnant and paid the prostitute to keep quiet when he was runinng for president. He has never admitted any of the horrible behaviors.. He continues to have the backing of the majority of evangelicals. He has a cult following despite how his policies are punishing them daily... ignoring their needs to fulfill his own fantasies like building a ballroom, fighting stupid wars, and telling he does not think or care about them... openly on national television...
DEMOCRATS will do themselves good if they want to restore sanity in Congress in November and get behind Platner... he is remorseful... it is sheer stupidity to think that a candidate must be perfect to represent an imperfect people... especially if the candidate has shown public remorse... You did that with Al Franken of Minnesota, a fine Senator doing a great job representing the people of his state and America, who was forced to resign because of indiscretions with women years ago... He apologized severally, yet you forced him out. Jesus said, Let him who has no sin be the first to throw a stone at the one accused of adultery....
I just came back from Nigeria . I traversed the length and breadth of the nation a bit in my three-week stay. Something is different about the country compared to when I visited last year.... The people are more desperate... Hunger has increased astronomically.... The gap between the haves and have-nots has further widened... You feel impunity in the air... You see police collecting bribes openly like we have not seen since the Shagari era in 1983... There are more law enforcement agents on the roads now, yet the crime rate has not abated... You see VIO , Road Safety, State Law enforcers, the Police, everywhere mounting illegal roadblocks... I heard things from those close to the seat of power about those who hold the reins of power, and I weep for Nigeria - it is beyond disheartening... Projects are being abandoned because a significant portion has been given as bribes to government officials like governors and ministers, including major monarchs - they all collect money for projects...
