The Road to Peace is never smooth sometimes.....

Nelson Mandela remains one of the most respected figure in the world today, even after his death. What many do not know was that he was tagged a TERRORIST by the United States of America's government for decades. He was still on the terrorist list while he was South Africa's president. Obama had to sign a special order to remove him from the list before he was able to visit the US in 2008.

Mandela was the leader of the arm resistant wing of African National Congress (ANC), the dominant party in once an apartheid South Africa (SA). The party was proscribed and banned from any form of political activities. The arm resistance of 1960 was what led to Mandela being jailed for 27 years. Successive U.S. government, just like its western counterparts, supported the apartheid regime in SA for decades. What was the end, shame.....

Israeli government and Hamas should learn from South Africa's experience. Violence and shedding of the blood of the innocent will not lead to peace. Nelson Mandela's life history and the process of emancipation of SA is a template to apply in the Israel-Palestinian conflict... There is no peace without a compromise.... everyone coming to the table must respect the right of the other to exist and be ready to leave something at the table....

I hope the West will use the lessons of SA to learn that standing by injustices only show you to be an oppressor not a defender of freedom. I will never advocate for violence of any kind against innocent people. But one nation cannot take away another nation's right to self-determination and expect everyone to abide by a rule they are not keeping. Mandela wrote, and I quote, “The armed struggle [with the apartheid authorities in SA] was forced on us by the government.” Was that the only option, maybe not.... While it is not the ideal, powerful nations acting with high handedness should watch their backs because they are creating rebellion that they call terrorism....

There is no Hamas in the occupied West Bank (WB) for decades. In 2023, it is alleged that over 34 children have been reported killed in WB by either IDF, Israeli Police or activist Zionists in settlements on occupied Palestinian lands - often for offenses that could have led to arrest - like throwing stones at Israeli security forces. Record number of young and old Palestinians have been jailed for frivolous reasons. The situation escalated since Netanyahu's pact with right wing activists to form the current govt. Some of them believe Palestinians are savages and should all be driven into the ocean - not just Hamas. They advocate for more Kibbutz being built on occupied land in the West Bank that was agreed to belong to Palestine under the 1993 Oslo Accord. They are pushing for more aggressive stance against any Palestinian associated with Hamas - family homes are bombed and members dislodged out of Palestinian land if they have any known association with Hamas or any organization tagged as terrorist. Netanyahu formed a govt with this extremist political factions to allegedly escape being prosecuted for corruption. Since October 7, over 100 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank, most of them were not armed.

I 100% agree Israel has the right to defend itself, so do Palestinians. Israelis have the right to life, so do Palestinians. Israelis have the right to freedom to determine how and who will be their leader, so do their neighbors. The two-state solution that the right wing Zionists in Netanyahu's government opposes, and that Hamas detest is the only way to peace in the middle-east. Ordinary Israelis and Palestinians want to live in peace....

Human rights organizations, including U.N. have determined long before October 7 that the Israeli government has imposed apartheid in Palestinian occupied lands - Gaza and West Bank. It is not by mistake that Palestinian territories depend on Israel for access to food, power, water and fuel... It was by design for a time like this... to use them as weapon of war.... it is criminality. Israel surrounds Gaza on every side before Oct 7 and Gaza was more or less the largest open air prison anywhere in the world. Palestinians in WB or Gaza had next to zero control on important infrastructural development like provision of power, water, fuel and excetera.

The world need to stand up now before many more innocents people die of starvation and thirst in their hundreds of thousands in Gaza..... the world is in a different place in 2023. Politicians in the West will find it difficult to get the support of young people who see things through a simple legalistic lens and without the political or religious sentiment of old. I hope President Biden and his Western counterparts will not just ensure palliative in the middle-east but will force the hand of Israel to stop the carnage and the killing of innocent Palestinians in the name of collateral damage... how many children will die before we say it is enough. More Palestinians children have been killed by IDF bombs since October 7 than in any war since 2019.

DARWANIAN Theory - The Driving Force Behind American Capitalism Philosophy

Communism died, and capitalism survived. Capitalism is a supposed system that allows freeness in an economy - market forces in the hands of private owners control what happens to the economy with minimal influence by the state. Capitalism has produced enormous wealth in the West. There are so many millionaires and billionaires. The question is, what is the ratio of the stupendously rich and those who are just scraping by - living from pay check-to-pay check? The gap is huge between the rich and the poor in most capitalist states. When President Trump was going to deliver his tax reform, it favored the rich with about 80% of the tax benefits going to the top 1% richest people in America. The argument was that they create jobs, they should benefit more - money is being given to those who really do not need the extra cash but those who need it the most, aids is been taken away from people who are at the bottom of the ladder because of a few who lie on their social welfare claims. STATE of THE NATION (NIGERIA) - February 2020

For 16 years, Nigerians believed that their problem was a political party called PDP. The other side agitated for those 16 years to wrestle power from PDP and many of us supported them. That other side has been in power for almost 5 years now, and things have gone from bad to worse compared to the PDP years. The money APC government has borrowed in 5 years is multiple of what PDP borrowed in 16 years, and the economy has gone down the drain. Nigeria has become the poverty capital of the world, and millions of children are out of school, there are no hospitals, unemployment is double digits and it has remained so for the better part of Buhari's time in office. The security situation has gone worse because the president is complicit due to the involvement of his kinsmen - he has shown zero will to tackle the problem decisively. The consequences of this is crack in the wall of the entity called Nigeria - with Amotekun launch in the South West and the US ban of Nigerians from ce...

Lagos - Calabar Coastal Highway, Another White Elephant Project by the Nigerian Government?

Except Nigeria changes its approach to project execution fundamentally, I do not see the Lagos - Calabar Coastal Highway project finishing in my lifetime. This project was conceived in 2006 by OBJ, 18 years ago. They are just starting today... 2024. If things are done properly, it will take 8 years - 8 years oh... that could be 80 years in Nigeria. How many decades since the Ibadan - Ilorin highway was conceived (since 1979) - it was restarted in 1999 during OBJ who conceived the road during his first stint in government as a military head of state. The road is yet to be completed, and the portion completed is already dilapidated, worse than the old road. Lagos - Ibadan expressway is yet to be fully completed 25 years since it was awarded. There have been several awards and re-awards since 1999 and billions of dollars have been wasted on a major road that links the commercial hub of Nigeria to the rest of the nation. There are so many other Federal highways like this, especially those ...
