EAGLES in the FINAL OF AFCON.. We need to change our style of play if we want to win the cup...

Congratulations to the Super Eagles of Nigeria! We made it to the final of AFCON in Côte d'Ivoire.

I hope we continue to drag ourselves across the line. The game we have scored the highest goal was in 2-0 win over Cameroon. The team is full of individual talents but if you observe, in almost all our games, we were outplayed. We had fewer ball possession than our opponents. Check the stat of each game. We were very lucky today against South Africa. The goalkeeper saved the day many times.

So, I can say we have a great goalkeeper in Stanley Nwabali, first time in a very long time. The defenders led by Ekong are very good. We have a pool of super strikers, including current CAF player of the year, Osimhen, and then Lookman, Simon, Chukwueze, Moffi, etc. However, the midfield appear to be very weak. There are two good players in the midfield - Iwobi and Yusuf. Another point is that the style of play adopted by Nigeria in this tournament has been very weird - players at the back mostly send long balls to the strikers in front. We have no holding midfielder to distribute the ball. Some allude that this is the reason why Osimhen has been less effective. Again, in the first three games, the striking force was centered around Osimhen and we forgot that we have other options in great strikers like Lookman. When that changed in round of 16 and quarter final, we saw what happened. Without Lookman's goals, Nigeria would have been out of the tournament.

If Nigeria want to win convincingly in the final, they need to change their style of play. Change the formation - have good players in the midfield, and try to hold the ball more at the center to be able to comfortably feed the strikers with quality balls...

When you discover the wisdom of the universe, it is as if...

When you locate the wisdom of the universe, it would be as if you have a magic wand... Your prosperity rolls over, you climb to the top faster and leave many behind... Funke Akindele's movie, "A tribe called Judah" remains the highest-grossing movie in Nollywood (Nigeria's movie industry). I saw the movie last week and could not make head or tail of it.. But something was unique about it. It was the first Nigerian movie that cast MANY actors from all the major ethnic groups in the nation.. These are top actors... For so long, Nollywood has been divided along ethnic lines... You have the Yorubas doing their thing, the Igbos doing their own and our brothers in the North, the Hausas doing their own. But this movie cast actors from everywhere, so, it became a must-see for almost all Nigerians ... Funke Akindele is a talented writer, actor, and producer. But she is also a shrewd businesswoman. She located the wisdom in tapping the talent of diverse ethnic groups in Nigeria...

Wannabee Prime Minister that is Denigrating her Native Country... for What?

Omo ale lo maa hun fi owo osi j'uwe ile baba eh - it is a BASTARD child that uses the left hand to describe her father's house.... We should speak honestly about our country, but when you hold a position like Kemi does decorum is essential. She could say the same thing in a way that will not impact the lives of ordinary Nigerians who live and make a honest living across the globe. She is an opposition leader for crying out loud... She is dragging her native country deep into the mud to gain cheap popularity.... She will need the votes of Nigerians if she will ever be Prime Minister one day. Every letter of her words will come back to hunt her... I trust Nigerians in the UK will not only mobilize against her, but they will also mobilize other Africans and Carribeans to shun her...
