President Joe Biden is old BUT....

President Joe Biden is old. He is 81 years old. He looks frail and probably has memory issues as alluded to by the Special Counsel. Here are my takes on the subject:

1. The alternative to Joe Biden is old as well; Donald J. Trump is old as well. He is 77 years old. Four years younger than Biden. There is no difference between the two on the subject of age and failing memory. 

2. I will take one over the other any day. They are light and day apart regarding their worldview, what they stand for, their ideals, and their leadership style. One is chaotic, the other is steady; one lies every day-every time, the other tries to tell the truth at all times; one is irrational and has no control over what comes out of his mouth; the other has an anchor and guardrail. One is the King of EMPATHY; the other is an open RACIST who cares about no one but himself. One builds lasting friendship based on sound principles of relationship; the other will befriend the devil so long as he says nice things about him. One makes it all about himself, while the other sees everything as our collective responsibility and glory...
3. Joe Biden is the KING of GAFFES. He has always been like that all his career. Judging him by his gaffe and using them as yardsticks for his mental acumen is unfair. The alternative has had a lot of gaffes lately too, so what is the difference?
4. The alternative has 91 counts criminal charges looming over his head.
5. The pronouncement of the alternative on salient local and foreign policies is scary. His pronouncement and position on the absolute power of the president will create chaos if allowed...
6. The antics of the alternative when he lost an election will destroy democracy in America as we know it if allowed back into office ...

I wrote a scathing article here when the alternative first won the presidency. Most of my predictions came true. These are predictions shared by many Americans. What is at stake in November is beyond politics; it is all about the heart and soul of the nation called America. I pray we choose wisely and from our hearts.

STATE of THE NATION (NIGERIA) - February 2020

For 16 years, Nigerians believed that their problem was a political party called PDP. The other side agitated for those 16 years to wrestle power from PDP and many of us supported them. That other side has been in power for almost 5 years now, and things have gone from bad to worse compared to the PDP years. The money APC government has borrowed in 5 years is multiple of what PDP borrowed in 16 years, and the economy has gone down the drain. Lagos - Calabar Coastal Highway, Another White Elephant Project by the Nigerian Government?

Except Nigeria changes its approach to project execution fundamentally, I do not see the Lagos - Calabar Coastal Highway project finishing in my lifetime. This project was conceived in 2006 by OBJ, 18 years ago. They are just starting today... 2024. If things are done properly, it will take 8 years - 8 years oh... that could be 80 years in Nigeria. How many decades since the Ibadan - Ilorin highway was conceived (since 1979) - it was restarted in 1999 during OBJ who conceived the road during his first stint in government as a military head of state. The road is yet to be completed, and the portion completed is already dilapidated, worse than the old road. Lagos - Ibadan expressway is yet to be fully completed 25 years since it was awarded. There have been several awards and re-awards since 1999 and billions of dollars have been wasted on a major road that links the commercial hub of Nigeria to the rest of the nation.
