Tips on how to conceive a male child!

Even though most medical practitioners and fertility professionals claim there is nothing one can do to guarantee having a male child, however, there is a simple technique that can be tried by the parents seeking a male child. We tried it and it worked for us.

The process of having a baby is when a man and woman come together in a physical union called mating or coitus. The male organ-penis goes into the female vagina, and at the climax, the male releases millions of cells (sperm) in a fluid called semen, into the female vagina. These sperm cells now travel through the vagina and cervix into the uterus or Fallopian tubes for fertilization of the female egg also referred to as ovum. Out of the several millions of sperm released (as many as 600 million sometimes), often, only one succeeds in fertilizing the egg at conception. This is what grows into a baby. How do you ensure it is the male sperm that fertilizes the ovum?

1. Work with the female ovulation cycle
Couples who mate frequently when they are trying to conceive a baby have a lesser chance with a male child. The reason for this is that the female sperm, which is also called the X chromosome survives longer (4 days approximately) in the uterus than the male sperm which on the hand runs faster by dies quicker (about 24 hours). So if the woman is not ovulating when sperms are released into her uterus, the male sperm would have died before the egg is ripe for fertilization. However, when you are targeting having a male child, the best time to mate is when the female is ovulating when her eggs are ready for fertilization. The male Y chromosomes that are faster and more aggressive have a greater chance of fertilizing the egg than the female sperm at this time.

2. Diet
What the female eats when she is trying to get pregnant for a male child could also affect the survival of the male sperm. Male sperm cannot withstand the acidic environment in the uterus, an alkaline environment is preferred. So if the male sperm dies even quicker than 24 hours because of unconducive environment, there is a lesser chance of conceiving a male child. Consuming foods that can create an alkaline system in the female at least a month to when you want to start trying to conceive is very essential. Consult with your dietician to help you choose appropriate foods that are alkaline in nature. Foods such as peas, carrot, broccoli, cabbage, Garlic, Green Beans, Green Peas, Sweet Potatoes, Tomatoes, Watercress, Chili Pepper, Cinnamon, Millet, Tempeh (fermented), Tofu (fermented), Whey Protein Powder, Pineapple, Raisins, Tropical Fruits, Umeboshi Plums, Watermelon, Tangerine, Raspberries, Rhubarb, Strawberries, cucumber, etc. are good. You may want to avoid the following foods that create an acidic environment in the women. Black Beans, Chick Peas, Green Peas, Kidney Beans, Lentils, Pinto Beans, Red Beans, Blueberries, Canned or Glazed, Fruits, Butter, Cheese, Bacon, Beef, Carp, Clams, Cod, Corned Beef, Cranberries, etc.

This technique increases your chance of conceiving a male child by as much as 75%. My wife and I tried it when we were planning to conceive our second child and we were blessed to get it right, we conceived a male child. It really won't arm you to try. All the best.
