Who is afraid of civil gathering (protest) in Nigeria?

Why is the federal government of Nigeria afraid of lawful protest by ordinary Nigerians because of hardship that stemmed from the failure of successive governments? Are they afraid it will produce results as it did in Kenya?

Protest is part of democracy... using traditional rulers, who are trumpets of the government and not the people, to force a stop is disingenuous. Saying they have identified sponsors of the protest is an insult to ordinary Nigerians who truly are suffering...
Is the government saying Nigerians are idiots who cannot think for themselves and exercise their civil rights?

Listen to the people; engage them and pragmatically address their concerns... implement policies that will alleviate poverty and stop sharing one bag of rice to 200 families... address the root cause of Nigeria's problem - corruption, insecurity, incompetence..

THE GREATEST ASSET EVER – LAND “Every time I make a movie, I buy a LAND” – Tiffany Haddish (Actress, Comedian, Singer, and Producer). If you do not know yet, I announce to you that the greatest asset that will give you an assured return, whose value hardly depreciates, is LANDED property . Reflect on the major wars going on right now in the world that are predicated on the issue of LAND. WHY? It is one of the GEM God endows humanity with that is finite in quantity. While the human population continues to increase, land area remains the same or is diminishing due to climate change. The Russia's war in Ukraine , the Gaza war , the DRC-M23 war/Rwanda , Sudan's civil war , the Cambodia–Thai war , herdsmen-farmers' violence in Nigeria and the Ethiopian civil war … all are predicated on access to land and what is in it – rare earth minerals . So, in 2026 , if you have the opportunity to invest in an asset, think about landed property.

MAGA destroyed DEI but they want to implement DEI at Harvard ... They claim the school is not diverse enough. They have too many liberals , so they need to hire more conservative , whether they meet the hiring requirement or survive the rigor of delivering excellence at Harvard or not. This is what they claim DEI is all about - hiring people based on race, they claim, but they have no issue telling Harvard to hire based on political ideology.... You read the same thing about BLM and Antisemitism . They say BLM reflects poorly on the history of America... Critical race theory is false history... slaves loved being in captivity, they loved their masters and served willingly... there is no more discrimination based on the color of your skin in America - but all the metrics point in the opposite direction... Jewish Lives Matter ; Black Lives Matter , and Palestinian Lives Matter ... All Lives Matter . A terrorist life should not be equal to 20 innocent Palestinian life... It is okay t...
