STATE OF THE WORLD - WORLD ORDER AT THE VERGE

With Russia's 2nd (1st was seizing of Crimea in 2014) invasion of Ukraine today, the world peace order has changed in a way that many who are students of history will understand. We are at a perilous time. This is how Hitler started his madness in Europe in the early 20th century and the world looked on. Putin's vision is to reclaim the old USSR that has fueled the current strategic move to invade its neighbor, it has nothing to do with Ukraine joining NATO. Putin let out his original intent yesterday in a one-hour ranting - he does not believe Ukraine should be an independent nation. Putin's number one goal in 1999 when he seized the rein of power in Russia was to restore the USSR kingdom - he started with the Georgian Republic, followed it with the annexation of Crimea in southern Ukraine, and he controls a lot of the former USSR republics like Belarus where he continues to prop a dictator who brutalizes oppositions.

Africans may say it does not concern us - I disagree. I will expatriate later. The countries around China - countries like Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia who are threatened by China and its military could one day wake up to an invasion. If Putin is not deterred today, this will become the new world order (back to the stone age) when powerful countries can invade weaker countries and face no repercussions. America which has acted as the world police since world war II is weakened by stupid and needless wars (Iraq and Afghanistan) they engaged in because some RNC members want to fill the pockets of the likes of Dick and his vested interest groups, and Bush junior who wanted to avenge the loss of his father and his ego that got burst and hurt because he lost an election due to 1991 Gulf War - a war fought because Iraq invaded Kuwait for oil.

Based on the Budapest Memorandum, Putin should not have invaded Ukraine, in fact, it was supposed to protect it. Ukraine gave up its third-largest stockpile of nuclear weapons in the wake of the disintegration of the USSR, and other superpowers who are the depository of the Treaty on the Nonproliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT)— the United States, and the United Kingdom—extended positive and negative security assurances to Ukraine, including Russia. They negotiated with Ukraine to give up its lethal weapons to reduce nuclear proliferation in exchange for protection. One of the parties to the Memorandum is the one breaking the pact - it is shameful.

China continues to threaten Taiwan and may invade Taiwan one day if Putin is not SEVERELY punished for invading Ukraine. Putin will not stop in Ukraine, he will go after other former USSR republics. He has not hidden that intent. North Korea may invade South Korea and Turkey may continue its incursion into neighboring countries where they believe are part of the former Ottoman kingdom.

Where does Africa stand, nowhere? Africa is still a virgin continent. Most of its resources are still untapped. China has started its strategic non-lethal invasion of Africa with its toxic loans that our puppet president in Nigeria said they cannot but take - many greedy African leaders have signed off the future of Africa to China. In a new world order where America cannot save a strategic partner like Ukraine, how will Africa fare when it cannot pay its loans and China decide to enforce the fine print and take over governments across Africa and make them an extension of the Chinese Communist party where freedom of expression is a taboo.

The current impasse in Ukraine will favor oil-producing nations with rocket high prices of petroleum but the world economy already battered by the COVID-19 pandemic will be further damaged. Putin was strategic about the timing of his plan and waited for this time to attack Ukraine. And he will not stop except something drastic happens within Russia or from outside. The global order of freedom is almost eroded, the gains from a peaceful world after WWII is disappearing before our very eye. Putin is on the verge of creating a 3rd World War and some myopic RNC leaders are backing him. The former one-term, twice-impeached US president who aided Putin in the past by weakening NATO praised Putin today for invading Ukraine. The US' inability to speak with one voice on Putin's aggression has made the country's leadership in the world weak. Trump's America first policy and his likeness for dictators like Putin emboldened dictators across the world in the last five years - turning allies to enemies and enemies to friends. Putin's attack on America's democratic institution through a strategic misinformation machine fueled by fascists at home seems to be working in favor of Putin - he is doing to America what America did to USSR, and he has won to some extent. It remains for Americans to band together at this time - what is happening in Ukraine will reach Americans even the US would not fire a shot to support Ukraine. If in doubt, check how much a gallon of gas costs at the pump today, and we haven't seen anything yet.

Not just the US, the world needs to band together to fight Tyranny - our world will not remain the same again if we don't fight to defeat mad leaders who are Hilter incarnate.
