What Goes Around Comes Around - Cause of Migrant and Terrorist Problem in Africa

When powerful people are exploiting the poor and the weak, they laugh and they feed fat. When politicians steal public fund, send their kids abroad on stolen money, they are happy but the children of the poor drop out of school because their parents are paid meager salary or cannot make a good profit because of a terrible economy. So, what you find sometimes is that the children of the poor will become armed-robber or yahoo boys, and one day waylays the children of the rich who are now COE/MD, maim or kill them.

This has played out well with the West posture towards Africa. They truncated Africa's path of growth, which was well defined before the European invasion. To the ignorance of a lot of people in the West who are unaware of African history. Pre-colonization, different Kingdoms/Empires (Ashante, Songhai, Borno, Dahomey, Benin, Oyo, Mali, etc) that had reigned had an intriguing system of government, well-established army, mind-blowing arts, medicine, technology, trade path, currency, etc. The West came, used the stolen technology of gun and gunpowder from China to overpower African communities for decades. When they left, they left "kwashiorkor" system that was fashioned to depend on them for everything up to toothpick for long so that the looting of Africa's wealth can continue. Lots of trade imbalance and POVERTY prevailed. For many years, they harbor stolen money from Africa in a banking structure that allows such to thrive. African leaders will borrow money from the West for projects but will steal most of this money and keep in European banks. A lot of the time, the money is taken over by the European countries when these leaders die and there is no one to claim the money in a secret bank account.Worst of it are Francophone countries who still maintain strong ties to France, keeping 100% of their foreign reserve in French Central Bank. There is nothing more to exemplify Neo-colonialism than this - why will African migrants not run to France where most of their money is kept, where the French government is using African money to develop their own economy.

What do we see today as a consequence of that - the MIGRANT crisis in Europe and terrorist cells all over Africa. Africa is so deprived that its people would risk dying to go to where stolen money from them are kept because it is better their. Europe cannot take all the blame but they carry the significant portion of it. Many European colonial masters like France have held their former colonies hostage for decades, they have supported dictators who protect their interest, many of that has backfired now. In Nigeria, the British falsified the first census, and claimed there were more people in the desert part of the country than in the coastal area, against ALL demographic principles - just because, cultural the northerners in Nigeria are more loyal to their protagonist - this lie is still being perpetuated today and it is one of the main cause of imbalance in Nigerian politics. In 1914, they amalgamated people of different cultures into a forced marriage and set the system up for a rivalry that still exists today. Africans in leaving in thousands today because the system created by the colonial masters have failed. Some idiots say Africans are brainless, that is why they act the way they do - perhaps we could say same of Europeans some centuries back before they started to feed on the wealth of conquered land to fuel their rise - they were once Barbarians themselves.

The posture of the West towards Africa needs to shift from just a palliative measure of aid provision alone. If they want to tackle migrants crisis, which has descended now into terrorist cells who were armed because of their idle hands, they need to form concrete ideas on how to help African people deal with generations of corrupt leaders who loot the continent's wealth and divert them to Europe and America, and now to the Middle East. Migrants and the terrorist problem will persist except Africa is led by good leaders who will help develop the continent. Africa does not need aids any more, the continent is rich, all they need are good leaders who will turn their fortune into tangible wealth.

THE GREATEST ASSET EVER – LAND “Every time I make a movie, I buy a LAND” – Tiffany Haddish (Actress, Comedian, Singer, and Producer). If you do not know yet, I announce to you that the greatest asset that will give you an assured return, whose value hardly depreciates, is LANDED property . Reflect on the major wars going on right now in the world that are predicated on the issue of LAND. WHY? It is one of the GEM God endows humanity with that is finite in quantity. While the human population continues to increase, land area remains the same or is diminishing due to climate change. The Russia's war in Ukraine , the Gaza war , the DRC-M23 war/Rwanda , Sudan's civil war , the Cambodia–Thai war , herdsmen-farmers' violence in Nigeria and the Ethiopian civil war … all are predicated on access to land and what is in it – rare earth minerals . So, in 2026 , if you have the opportunity to invest in an asset, think about landed property.

WHY DO BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO EXTREMELY GOOD PEOPLE

There is a saying in my language, Yoruba , that “Igi to ba to, kii pe n’gbo” – meaning, the good ones do not seem to last or live long. WHY? Tatiana Schlossberg, granddaughter of John F Kennedy (The U.S. President who championed the civil rights movement to end discrimination; one of the greatest U.S. presidents ever) and daughter of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis , passed away today from cancer at a young age of 35. Like her grandfather and many others in the Kennedy family, she dedicated her life to changing the world. She was a passionate environmental journalist for the New York Times and wrote a book titled "Inconspicuous Consumption: The Environmental Impact You Don’t Know You Have” in 2019 that won the Society of Environmental Journalists’ Rachel Carson Environment Book Award in 2020. Her life’s work sheds light on how individuals’ daily activities and choices exacerbate climate change issues . Tatiana Schlossberg's work focused on making complex environmental issue...
